6 preliminary registrations slots are still available for the SGP of Spain in Santa Cilia, on the sunny side of the Pyrenees, and by joining, you have the opportunity to fly 2 competitions in a row, the COPA PIRINEOS as good training period, followed by the Sailplane Grand Prix!

This is unique opportunity of two weeks enjoying a great gliding experience in this flight area of Spain.

The Pyrenees appears to us as a mountain range of about 300km in length with hardly any restrictions on sport flying, still very unknown to many pilots. The south face is obviously the sunniest and presents us with a very long thermal flight season (March until end of September). The rest of the year we have good wave conditions with a northerly wind, having been the basis for some excellent long haul distance flights by Klaus, Gil or Baptiste that have shown us the steps to unite the Pyrenees even with the Alpine massif!

The Santa Cilia airfield has two runways, hangar space, and three tow planes. If you come with your family, you will enjoy the pool and the bar/restaurant. For accommodation, there are several options, from camping in a tent or in a mobile home on the premises, different options of rural houses in the town (1.5km) or in Jaca, a city dedicated to mountain tourism that we have just 14km from the airfield.

The area in which the aerodrome is located also offers interesting options for the family, adventure tourism, gastronomy,... and the Romanesque.
